How to Wash your Hair Extensions

A very important but perhaps often overlooked aspect of hair extensions is how exactly to properly care and wash them. All Endless Hair Extensions are made with 100% Remy human hair which means that they can be washed and styled just like your own natural hair. Since Endless Hair Extensions don’t receive the natural oils from the scalp as natural hair does, they don’t need to be washed as often as they won’t get oily or greasy like natural hair. We recommend washing your Endless Hair Extensions every 10 or so wears or when there’s a lot of product build-up that prevents styling. Our Premium Collection (Vietnamese and Indian) extensions are raw and virgin in addition to being Remy human hair which makes them even closer to your own natural hair and thus can be washed as many times as you’d like without damaging them.  

Be sure to have these items handy before you start!

  • A sink with a plug
  • Alcohol/sulfate-free shampoo
  • Alcohol/sulfate-free conditioner
  • Hair oil
  • A wide tooth comb

You might be wondering why we recommend alcohol and sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner. The reason is that these products are extremely drying on hair and since hair extensions already don’t receive the natural oils from the scalp, it’s best to preserve moisture in the hair as much as possible. Thus alcohol/sulfate-free shampoos and conditioners will keep the extensions looking beautiful and vibrant.

Step 1 Brush your extensions 

Just as brushing your hair before showering will help against tangling, the same applies to washing hair extensions. Before washing your extensions, give them a good brush with a wide tooth comb or paddle brush from bottom to top, carefully removing any knots and tangles in the hair. Then place each weft neatly on top of each other to keep them tangle free during the washing process.

Step 2 Preparation 

Make sure your sink is clean to avoid dirtying the extensions and then fill it up with lukewarm water - be sure to avoid hot or cold water. Pump several drops of shampoo into the water and swish the soap around until it’s nice and bubbly.

Step 3 Shampoo the wefts

Wash the hair extensions one weft at a time to ensure that each weft gets washed thoroughly without the set tangling. If you’re pressed for time you can always bundle the extensions together with an elastic and wash them together like that. Hold the weft with one hand and submerge it into the water and very gently wash the hair, being sure to shampoo it in with light strokes and avoid tangling the hair. When you’re done, take it out and set it aside neatly on a towel and repeat the same steps for the rest of the wefts.

Step 4 Condition each weft

After you’ve shampooed the wefts it’s time to condition them. This is a very important step not to be skipped as it helps ensure that your extensions remain moisturized and soft. It’s a good idea to use a deep conditioner for this step to really help penetrate the hair shaft. Take a generous amount of conditioner and apply it to each weft from top to bottom, working the product in thoroughly into the hair. It’s best to leave the product in overnight to really allow it to soak in and be the most effective. To do this, simply bundle your extensions and carefully coil them and place them in a shower cap to leave overnight.

Step 5 Rinse the wefts

The following morning, thoroughly rinse out each weft, making sure that there’s no conditioner residue left on the hair. A common mistake is to not fully wash the extensions and leave “the slip” or the slippery soft feeling after conditioning. The reason you want to avoid this is that it will either weigh the hair down or cause it to look greasy when dry. Wash each weft with cold water to help close the cuticles of the hair and seal in the moisture and make the extensions look silky smooth.

Step 6 Drying the wefts

It’s always best to avoid using excessive heat on hair extensions, and drying them is no exception. Before laying them out to dry, make sure the extensions are fully wrung of water, then lay all the wefts out separately on a towel on a flat surface. A helpful trick to preventing frizz once the hair is dry is to apply a small amount of hair oil to each weft to ensure the hair remains manageable.  

Step 7 Comb each weft

Although it’s usually not recommended to comb through wet hair as it’s more easily tangled, in this case, you want your extension to dry straight with little to no tangles. Use a wide tooth comb to gently brush from top to bottom

Step 8 Let dry

That’s it! Leave the wefts to dry and then enjoy clean, beautiful hair extensions ready to add instant volume and length to your natural hair.

Shipping and Delivery

We Ship Internationally!

FREE standard domestic shipping (3-5 business days) and calculated worldwide shipping offered. Your Endless Hair Extensions are shipped from our warehouse located in Florida.

It will take 1 business days to process your order, regardless of the shipping option selected at checkout. We ship Monday through Saturday, excluding Sundays and holidays. We cannot guarantee Saturday delivery, even if your shipping is upgraded to express. You will receive a confirmation e-mail with the tracking link once your order ships.

Please note that if an inaccurate or incomplete address(es) are provided, or if there are unverified details with your order, it potentially will delay processing by an additional 1-2 business days. Please be sure to double check your shipping and billing information prior to checking out to ensure any possible delays are avoided. 

Your package will not require a signature unless asked to. Most packages will be delivered to the mailbox or front door of the address provided. It's up to the delivery courier to decide if the package is safe being left in the open. If they decide it is unsafe, they will hold the package at a local post office or re-schedule another delivery. Our best recommendation is to input a shipping address where you know your or someone else will be available to accept the package (a work address or a friend's address).


You will receive a confirmation e-mail once your order has been processed to the e-mail address provided at the time of checkout, which can take up to 48 hours. You will receive a second e-mail once your order has shipped, which will include your tracking number and a link to follow the journey of your package. If there is a problem with your tracking number or package delivery, please contact the courier directly prior to contacting us. Please allow 1 - 4 days for the tracking information to show. In some rare case, the tracking information may not update but you will still receive your order. Please contact us after the estimated delivery time.


International customers (outside of the United States) are responsible to pay any applicable inbound duties, taxes, and any other fees which your local Customs authority deems appropriate. These fees are paid to your local carrier or government and are not collected by Endless Hair Extensions, and thus cannot be refunded. 

We ship international packages DDU (duties and taxes unpaid), meaning that these fees are not included in the price of the goods you purchase from our website. All applicable fees must be paid by the recipient in order to receive the parcel. As we are unable to advise the amount of what these fees might be, we recommend contacting your country's customs office or tax agent for respective charges and rates on a package coming outside of your country.

Please note that DHL pays on your behalf for any duties and taxes that are due on the goods, as soon they enter the country. This simple process ensures that the courier can deliver your package in shortest possible transit time. The goods are released to you only upon the full repayment of any duties and taxes that were paid on your behalf. On some occasions, you may receive an invoice from DHL after the delivery of goods, for the charges they have paid on your behalf at the destination, plus a small administration fee. 


It is the responsibility of the buyer to make sure that she or he enters the shipping address correctly. We do our best to speed up processing and shipping times, hence there is a very small time gap to cancel/change your order or to change the address of your order. If you decide to cancel your order or change your shipping address, please write to us at as soon as you place your order. We will do our best to make the change, however, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to do so, as there are varying time limits in which we are able to do so.

If it's too late for our team to cancel your order, you can return your order to us once you've received it. If it does get returned back to our warehouse, we can then ship it to the correct address or provide you with a full refund.

Extra Shipping Charges: If you upgraded your shipping and the package was returned to us due to an incorrect address and if you would like a refund, you will not be reimbursed for the upgraded shipping fees.



Yes! We are happy to accept your set back for an exchange or refund within 60 days, as long as they haven't been worn or altered or installed. Please read our Return Policy and then e-mail when you are ready to proceed with your return or exchange. You must contact us prior to sending your return to obtain an RMA number and confirmation of such a return or exchange. Please note that refunds for extensions returned without contacting us cannot be guaranteed.


Yes, customers wishing to return or exchange their extensions will be responsible for all return shipping costs. We recommend that you send your return with a tracking option because Endless Hair Extensions will not be responsible for lost packages. Note: please indicate "RETURN, NO DUTIES" on the package, otherwise the package may be returned to you.


We will send you the different extension(s) after we have received, inspected and confirmed that the returned hair extension(s) were not worn or altered. All customers must contact us after sending the package back and provide us with the tracking information of the set being sent back, in order for us to place the order for your exchange. It takes 1 business day to process all orders from the moment we place it in our system. US orders take 3-5 business days to be delivered with standard free shipping, and international orders may take anywhere from 6-20 business days. For more shipping details, please click here.


A full refund will be provided to the original method of payment after we have received, inspected and confirmed that the returned hair extensions were not worn or altered. All customers must contact us after sending the package back and provide us with the tracking information in order for us to process the refund. Note: most financial institutions will take an average of 3-5 business days to process the refund, however, it could take longer. Please allow up to 7 business days for your financial institution to reflect the refund on your statement prior to contacting us. For more information, we recommend contacting your credit card provider.


We're sorry to hear your Endless Hair Extensions were not a good match! In order to initiate a return or exchange, please e-mail with your order number and the following information, and we'll be happy to provide you with our return address and an RMA label if you qualify for a return. 1. Please read about our refund policy here or our exchange policy here. 2. By purchasing our product(s), you by default agree to our refund/exchange policy and guarantee that the item has not been worn or altered. Please e-mail us and copy/paste the following statement: "I, (insert your full name), agree to the Endless Hair Extensions refund/exchange policy and understand if Endless Hair Extensions finds that the item has been worn or altered, I will not receive a refund, and I will have to pay the needed shipping fees in order to get my worn or altered item back." Also, if you have any feedback as to why you are returning your set - we'd love to hear it! Customer feedback is what helps our company learn and grow.


We will provide a full refund or exchange on unworn and unaltered hair extensions within 60 days of the date that you receive your Endless Hair Extensions.



All of our shipments include tracking with delivery confirmation. If the tracking information confirms that the item has been delivered to your order address but you have not received your order, please contact couriers at numbers above in order to investigate this issue. We cannot be held accountable for packages where tracking information states the package has been delivered to your order address. 

If you have previously experienced lost or stolen packages where you reside, we encourage you to instead have your package delivered to a work address to ensure that you receive it safe and sound. 


Please note that Endless Hair Extensions charges state sales where applicable at the rate applicable for the county of the purchaser. These collected taxes are mandated by the local state governments and Endless Hair Extensions in no way benefits from this and directly pays this amount collected to the state.


Please note that Endless Hair Extensions charges a 20% VAT on all orders shipped to a country within the European Union (EU). We do ship to military addresses. All mail is shipped via USPS to a military base who is then responsible for delivering the package to your final destination. For military orders, delivery times can be upwards of 15-20 business days.
